First Day at AWS re:Invent
On Monday, I gave a lightning talk at AWS re:Invent on Serverless Chatbots. It was recorded and I will update this entry if the video is published. They did publish the lightning talk slide deck.
I also participated in the day-long Security Jam. Dozens of teams competed to complete 10 security-breach response missions. Several of the teams completed all the missions--some with perfect scores. It was fun to teach beginners about AWS services and to learn about the kinds of threats, responses, and preventatives we can use in our cloud deployments.
The conference organizers expect 32,000 attendees this year.
I will post a comprehensive AWS report after the conference.
